lately Miss CaramelD has been voicing things i've had rolling around in my head. i've been going through a lot of things lately. i've probably been here before, but it just feels so much harder this time. and i know, this time, its cuz i dont feel at peace. it doesnt feel like these things are just for a season. i dont see what i am learning. i dont grasp anything. i've stopped praying because almost a year ago, it started to feel like God wasnt listening. at first i thought, he wants me to go through this. so i trudged on. tried to learn from the things going on around me. later i came to the conclusion God wasnt listening. he either was fed up of me, or there was no reason for him to listen. i'd created this mess and my crying out to him was futile. fine. i had to face my bad or faulty decisions. and deal with the consequences. but now, there is something. a block. something just doesnt want me doing what i want, what i need to do. i no longer have a focus. no plan for the future. no ambition.

I wrote you a previous comment about your hilarious "diet" story and thought I'd read on, ~as I was mesmerized, hanging on to every one of your next words... ~sigh!.. What a world this would be if we all had this carefree, wonderful attitude, that you have shared so freely.
Today's post is a little troubling to me. It say's to me, in not so many words that something is greatly troubling you and is most likely from your past. Sometimes things get in between your relationship with God, usually it is some unresolved issue that has been looming and God has tried to help you change it, to no avail.
Listen very closely to your heart and be open to the ways in which God enlists his people to come to your aid. If you walk "rightly" in God, and he hath place for you, He will remove all obstacles that are in your way, to bring you victory in Christ.
I know that when you are walking in God, nothing can stop you!.

God is still there and he still can hear you. Please try reading his Word, the Bible if you haven't yet. Also, if you're willing to listen to him and obey, he will have respect to you also.
Even the most holy prophets of old sometimes felt God was far away or not listening, but he is in his holy habitation. He has to humble himself just to behold the things that are in the heaven and in the earth! as it states in Psalms 113.
Also, there are many times God has tried to get our attention and we have shut him out, too.
God is good and there still is hope, but God is the ONLY hope, whether we feel like he's listing or not.
